Privacy policy

This demo policy describes how personal and health-related data is handled on the platform. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Who we are

DentaVoyage operates a marketplace that connects patients with dental clinics abroad. We are not a healthcare provider and do not provide diagnoses or medical advice. Clinics are independent controllers of the data you agree to share with them.

2. What data we collect

Account details (name, email, phone, preferred language), treatment request details (treatment needs, urgency, travel preferences, budget), health-related information you choose to provide (diagnosis, allergies, dental history), uploaded documents (x-rays, CBCT scans, photos, existing treatment plans), and communication with coordinators and clinics.

3. Legal basis

We process account and request data to provide the service you asked for. Health-related information and documents are processed only on the basis of your separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who can access your data

Your assigned coordinator, the clinics you explicitly agree to share your request with, and platform administrators acting on a documented support or security need. Administrative access to request and document data is recorded in an audit log.

5. Documents and storage

Uploaded documents are stored in private storage. They are never published through public links and are only made available through short-lived, access-checked links to people entitled to see them.

6. International transfers

Clinics may be located outside your country of residence, including outside the EU/EEA. Sharing your request with a clinic abroad happens only after your explicit consent, and the consent record states which clinics were selected.

7. Retention

Request and document data is kept while your request is active and for a limited period afterwards to support warranty and follow-up cases. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw any consent, and object to processing. Requests are handled through your account or by contacting your coordinator.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service. Analytics and marketing cookies, if used, require your consent and can be changed at any time.
